EBRD will finance the implementation of Ukrainian environmental technology companies.
EBRD opened the program, each participant will be able to receive that grant funds in the amount of covering from 5% to 25% of project cost, which introduced an innovative environmental technology
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has opened a new program to finance the implementation of technology projects in the field of climate change mitigation.
FINTECC programs for three years, is supported by grant funding of $ 7 million from the Global Environment Facility and the $ 4 million – of the investment fund “European Neighbourhood”. It will help Ukrainian companies to invest in the best available technology and should lead to a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. This technology can be an effective use of energy, materials and water as well as renewable energy technologies, which are not very common.
From the side the EBRD in the framework of this program plans to provide loans to 40 million euros.
