The European Investment Bank (EIB) can provide funds for subsidized loans Ukrainian small and medium farmers in the amount of 400 million euros.
It is reported by the press service of Ministry of Agricultural Policy, with reference to the Head of Department of Taras Kytoviy.
“We will submit for ratification by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the contract with the European Investment Bank, in the framework of which 400 million euros will be allocated to small and medium-sized farmers Term loan- assumed 12 years and a preferential rate”, – said Kytoviy.
The Minister also said that the resources of the borrower will be the Ukraine in the person of the Ministry of Finance, which with the assistance of Ministry of Agrarian Policy and in cooperation with JSC “Ukreximbank”, will provide financial resources to commercial banks.
Selected banks, in turn, will carry out the selection of projects, funding and monitoring of the implementation of these projects.
