The European Investment Bank will allocate € 150 mln. loan for the modernization of the railway in the south of Ukraine.
It is was reported by the Bank press service.
Plans to upgrade about 250 km of the railway. However, the total cost of the project is around € 314 million.
Earlier, the Head of “Ukrzaliznytsia” Wojciech Balchun unveiled the plan of modernization of all spheres of activity of the enterprise. In general, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine plans to put the system of electronic services “Ukrzalyznitsi” to the world standard.
