Germany for six months increased exports to Ukraine in third.
During the first half of German exports to Eastern Europe grew faster than the national rate for all regions. Exports to Ukraine increased by almost a third.
The real fireworks occurred in the first half in exports in Ukraine, which grew by 31%. Economic reforms in the country bring their first fruits and the economy shows growth for the first time.
“Engine for growth” and called Southeast Europe – Romania, Serbia and Croatia, that export grew by 6 months at 14%.
For the first time after a record 2012 increase in German exports to the country, which is the Eastern Committee of German Economy, was stronger in the first half of this year than the overall rate of national exports. The total turnover in Germany from that 21 countries in the first half of 2016 decreased by 4% to EUR 51.8 billion, as imports from there to Germany was one tenth lower than the previous year.
