IMF consider Ukraine’s request to replace the program stand by larger and long-term program extended fund facility

Ukrainian authorities have requested the International Monetary Fund to open new multi-year program support the expansion of credit (extended fund facility) to replace the existing program stand by (two-year program with a deadline for completion in 2016 and funding of $ 17 billion) opened in the spring of 2014, said the head of IMF Christine Lagarde.
The new program should support measures to immediate macroeconomic stabilization as well as broad and deep economic reforms for several years to ensure economic and financial stability and restore sustainable growth.
At present the ongoing debate on the official financial support from international partners of Ukraine.
