Ukraine and Iran cooperate in the field of veterinary medicine and food safety.
Ukraine and Iran have agreed on establishing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of veterinary medicine and food safety.
This was anoncing by press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
The relevant agreement was reached during a meeting at which the parties presented their competent authorities and especially their work.
According to the director of the Department for special organizations, public relations and international issues of Veterinary Medicine Hassan Ehtiyarzade Iran, Iran is interested in establishing exports to Ukraine seafood, including shrimp, and veterinary drugs and feed additives.
In turn, representatives of our country stressed that the Ukrainian side will supply the Iranian market products and animal feed. Ukraine currently exports to Iran feed corn.
Following the meeting the Iranian side proposed Ukrainian colleagues consider concluding bilateral Memorandum on cooperation in the field of sanitary, veterinary and sanitary and phytosanitary measures.
