Ukraine increased production of basic products of processing of grain in September 2015.
In September 2015 compared with the previous month increased the production of staple food grain, with the exception of feed and starch.
Flour production in Ukraine in September 2015 amounted to 184.581 thousand tons, which is 7.4% more than in the previous month.
At the same time, in the reporting month decreased significantly the production of starch to 3,768 th. tons, which is 16.2% less than in August 2015 and by 42.9% compared with September 2015 also decreased feed production – to 512.318 thousand tons in August to 505.137 thousand tons in September by 1.4%.
Production of cereals in September 2015 compared to August increased by 29.2% – to 22.803 thousand tons, although this is 3.1% less than was produced a year earlier.
The highest increase in production of rice is celebrated – by 179.2% more than in August 2015 buckwheat – by 82.3%, oats – by 74.1% and millet – by 57.7%. But corn and pearl barley produced lower – 20.2% and 6.9%, respectively.
