Ukraine plans to raise in November $ 1 billion under the guarantee of the United States of America.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine plans to attract in November 2015 a further $ 1 billion under the guarantee of the United States of America.
This is stated in the presentation of the Ministry on official website.
Also before the end of 2015 the Ministry of Finance expects to attract from the World Bank $ 500 million at the end of August and another $ 500 million – in late September; from the European Commission – EUR 600 million in the fourth quarter; from the Japanese government – $ 300 million at the end of October; from the German government – 200 million euros at the end of the end of August; from the Government of Norway – NOK 200 million in October.
As previously reported, the first issue of Eurobonds in the $ 1 billion under the guarantee of the United States has placed Ukraine in May 2014. Yield then to 28 basis points higher than the yield of government bonds maturing US April 30, 2019 and amounted to 1.844% per annum. The organizers were JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley.
May 27, 2015 Ukraine has placed the second issue of Eurobonds for US guarantee: it was the five-year paper $ 1 billion with a yield higher than similar US government bonds by 32 basis points. The organizers of the transaction were Citi, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley.
