Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has developed a plan of 27 steps for Ukraine’s entry into the top 50 Doing Business rating in the next year.
This was announced by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius in the report the members of the economic bloc of the government for the year of work.
“The next year, be sure to enter the top 50 best countries with regard to Doing Business, and according to our plans – even in a year in the top 20. The next year, we have developed a roadmap which involves 27 steps, to be on the 46-spot in the ranking of Doing Business “, – he said.
In 2015, Ukraine has managed to rise in the rankings 4 position – from 87 to 83 place.
According Abromavicius, in 2016 the ministry expects to attract to Ukraine $ 5 billion of foreign direct investment.
“Next year we expect and set a goal to come to our country at least three particularly large foreign investors and created here with us their stories of success. Total task to bring to our country for the next year to $ 5 billion of foreign direct investment,” – he said.
Foreign direct investment in Ukraine for 9 months of 2015 amounted to $ 2.555 billion, and the total volume of foreign direct investment (equity and debt) as of 1 October 2015 amounted to $ 52.281 billion.
