14 Japanese companies have already expressed their readiness to invest in the recovery of the Ukrainian economy
First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko and Senior Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Shohei Hara signed a Protocol of Discussions on the Project to Enhance Private Sector Engagement for Ukraine’s Recovery.
The document provides for JICA’s assistance in implementing pilot investment projects of Japanese businesses in Ukraine. Japan will also support the development of the private sector and industrial policy instruments in Ukraine. In addition, the partners stand ready to provide recommendations on how to more actively attract investment from Japanese companies.
