According to EY experts, in 2016 this figure grew more than fourfold.
In 2016, thanks to foreign direct investment in Ukraine, 4 547 jobs were created, whereas in 2015 it was 850. This is evidenced by the survey of investment attractiveness of European countries from EY.

Thus, in Ukraine, the growth rate of jobs created through direct foreign investment amounted to 435%.

It is noteworthy that neighboring Poland occupies the second place after the UK in terms of the number of jobs created in 2016 (22,074). In the United Kingdom, there are 43,165 seats.
In general, analysts recorded a record volume of foreign direct investment in Europe.
It was fixed 5 845 investment projects (an increase to the previous year was 15%), thanks to the inflow of FDI, 259 673 new jobs were created.
American companies in 2016 invested in 1,310 projects in Europe, which accounted for 22% of the total number of investment projects. The number of FDI projects of American companies increased by 10% compared to last year.
