Ukraine receives EUR 70 million from CEB under HOME project to compensate for housing destroyed by russian armed aggression
Ukraine has received EUR 70 million from the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) as part of the “HOME: Compensation for Destroyed Housing” project. The funds are the first tranche of the two planned stages by the end of this year.
Under the HOME project, the funds will be used to finance housing certificates as a direct assistance mechanism that will allow citizens to receive compensation for housing destroyed as a result of hostilities and russian terrorist attacks. The main final beneficiaries are soldiers, people with disabilities and multi-child families.
