At the end of 8 months in Ukraine increased production in the food and light industries.
State Statistics Service of Ukraine has summed up 8 months of production of the major industries of Ukraine.
In January-August 2015 Ukraine produced 17.7 million tons of coal. Compared to last year, production totaled 50.3% from January to August 2014. Although the coal mined in August 2015, showed a slight increase compared to August 2014, amounting to 103.2%.
As a result of 8 months of continued decline in other sectors of the mining industry. Crude oil – 89.6% of the volume of production for 8 months. 2014, natural gas condensate – 89%, natural gas (liquefied or gaseous) – 97.5%, non-agglomerated iron ore – 93%, non-agglomerated iron ore concentrates – 96.2%, agglomerated iron ore concentrates – 86.8%.
But some positive indicators encouraging processing industries. Following the results of 8 months 2015 production of frozen pork amounted to 141.5% of the previous year, and the ice cream of chicken – 107.5%.
A similar situation in some sectors of light industry: the production of cotton yarn – 144.3% compared to the same period of 2014, blankets and traveling rugs – 124.7%.
