Automatic refund of VAT earned: business for two days returned 11 billion UAH
The State Treasury Service on April 26 repaid the first tranche as part of the work of a new register of automatic VAT refunds. The funds received 2,704 payers for the amount of over 9.94 billion UAH. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance.
The department noted that only 13 payers did not receive funds for a total of UAH 5.97 million due to incorrect requisites of the recipient (the beneficiary’s bank was liquidated).
Also on April 27, the State Treasury refunded 111 applications for a total of more than 1.13 billion UAH.
In addition, the next tranche is in the register queue. 70 applications for VAT refunds for a total amount of UAH 196.8 million should be satisfied. These funds are planned to be returned to entrepreneurs on April 28.
The Ministry of Finance says that the compensation is in full volume without any failures and problems. Note that all transactions are carried out on time, as it provides for the operation of the new system.
At the same time, the head of the State Treasury, Tatyana Slyuz, earlier stated that as of April 21, there was no information yet for the VAT refund. Information from the treasury appeared after April 24, and already on the 26th – entrepreneurs received funds.
Let’s remind, the register of automatic compensation of VAT has earned since April, 1st, 2017. It works in the following way: the fiscal service submits applications of entrepreneurs for reimbursement, the amount agreed for is not more than 30 days (in certain cases, not more than 60 days), after that there is an automatic reimbursement.
