In November, the average salary per employed Ukrainian rose to UAH 5,406 per month. For the month the average salary grew by 1%, and from the beginning of the year by 24%. This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Service.
The average salary in November decreased in Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev, Mykolaiv regions. The highest salary was expected to work in the capital, where the average salary in November rose to UAH 9,008. At the same time in the Donetsk region the average salary for November was 6 106 UAH, which is the second indicator after Kiev.
The lowest average salaries in November were recorded in Ternopil (3,955 UAH), Zhitomir (4,155 UAH), Volyn (4,174 UAH), Kirovograd (4,191 UAH), Chernivtsi (4,197 UAH) and Kherson regions (4 199 UAH ).
According to Gosstat, the highest average salaries are in the following types of activity: aviation (25 617 UAH), production of pharmaceutical products and preparations (UAH 11,527), financial and insurance activities (UAH 10,384), information and telecommunications (UAH 10,225 ). The lowest, in turn, was observed in postal and courier activities (3,042 UAH), health care (3,453 UAH), temporary accommodation and catering (3,689 UAH), education (3,723 UAH), as well as in libraries, Museums, archives (3 825 UAH).
Recall, from January 1, 2017, the minimum wage will grow to UAH 3,200. Therefore, the government expects an increase in the average wage, as well as income from the Pension Fund from ERUs. At the same time, according to the head of the State Fiscal Service, in Ukraine, about 180,000 companies pay salaries below 3,200, and therefore the tax and other supervisory bodies promised to keep a close watch on the fulfillment of the demand for higher wages from the beginning of the year.
