EU has predicted significant growth of the Ukrainian economy.

The EU predicts that this year GDP growth in Ukraine could reach 1-2% and will accelerate to 3% next year. This was announced by European Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis on 13 annual meeting of the Yalta Economic Strategy (YES).
He also said that the EU plans to allocate € 600 million Ukraine before the end of the year.
However, the effectiveness of the financial support of the European Union depends primarily on the efforts of the Ukrainians themselves, stressed Dombrovskis. “Strengthening anti-corruption institutions is necessary to build a modern economy”, – he said.
International partners want to be sure that the Ukrainian government to stay the course of reform, concluded the vice-president of the European Commission.
