Lipton said that this government – the only one in the history of reform. He also commended the establishment of the anti-corruption agency and added that the deregulation of the economy and good governance is the best strategy for overcoming corruption in Ukraine.
Also, the Deputy Head of the IMF singled out the three pillars of economic development.
“When we talk about economic efforts, they have three components: the stabilization of the national currency, the resumption of economic growth, the negotiations on the foreign debt,” – said Lipton.
Earlier it was reported that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk left for a working visit to the United States where his talks are scheduled with the director – manager of key creditor countries the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde.
