The Georgian company has opened an office in Kiev, Ukrainian investment plans to provide start-ups an average of $ 10-50 thousand.
Opportunities for Ukrainian startups grow as in Ukraine, a new company in the field of venture capital investment in the IT-sector – Spribe Labs. The founder of the company is a division of the Georgian company Spribe, which develops software in the field of gambling and owns the brand online casino JokerBros. Six months ago the company opened an office in Kiev, and is now launching a new project in the field of venture capital and consulting.
The founder and principal investor Spribe Labs David Natroshvili said: “Ukraine is rich in talent in the engineering sector, which can generate ideas, demand at the global level. We decided to enter the Ukrainian market of start-ups, as we see great prospects for growth here. Our company offers a seed investment start-ups whose activities are related to the IT-industry. At the same time we are interested in how a team of professionals as well as individual experts, is preparing to launch his project. ”
Spribe Labs different from other companies because it is prepared to consider start-ups at all stages, including just ideas or prototypes. As David Natroshvili promises: “If you are – an experienced specialist in a certain area and you have an idea for a startup, or you and your colleagues are already working on a prototype of the product, but do not have the necessary technical and material resources and skills – we are ready to help you” .
On average Spribe Labs plans to invest $ 10-50 thousand for a certain percentage of the business, the amount of which is negotiated individually. If a startup will cause an increased interest, and other amounts are possible, says Mr. Natroshvili.
