German business praised the Ukrainian reforms.
German business representatives noted the positive experience of cooperation with the central authorities.
In preparation for the German-Ukrainian business forum, which will take place on October 23 at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade held a round table with representatives of German companies, which have long been working in Ukraine.
It is reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministry of Ukraine.
The meeting was attended by some of the largest companies in Germany, in particular, DHL International, Robert Bosh LTD, Metro Cash & Carry, BSM Bosh and Siemens Home Appliance Group, and others.
“The participants endorsed the high motivation of the government to reform and positive experience of cooperation with the central bodies of executive power. However, it was noted that the worst is behind us, and some companies have even begun the expansion of its production facilities in Ukraine”, – said in a statement.
As noted, while talking about foreign trade, representatives of the German business reported a good percentage of customs clearance of goods, which they estimate at over 80%.
“It’s a good sign. We hope that the business forum will be an additional impetus for the expansion of German business in Ukraine”, – said Alexander Marcus, of the Delegation of German Economy in Ukraine.
According to representatives of German companies, Ukraine has significant potential in the production of automotive parts, chemical industry and agribusiness.
