IMF impressed by the achievements of Ukrainian economy.
The Ukrainian economy has stabilized and shows improvement. This was stated by Head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, during a joint briefing with the President of Petro Poroshenko in Kiev. “I am impressed by the fact that Ukraine has reached a few months”, – said Lagarad. According to her, Ukraine has surprised the world. In turn, Poroshenko said that the IMF mission will stay in Ukraine from September 22 until October 2. “Until today we have received only 38 percent of the total program fund, and we have agreed a clear timetable for action. It is now the month of September is coming to us the mission of the International Monetary Fund, which will continue its work until October 2. And at the end of the mission, I hope they are successful because we are determined to reform, we have agreed that in the month of October may submit a proposal to the meeting of the International Monetary Fund, “- said Poroshenko.
