The International Monetary Fund wants to hold a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian authorities to discuss the prospects for reform of the pension system and the formation of the state budget for next year. This was announced by IMF representative in Ukraine Jerome Vashe.
“Currently, there are a lot of questions, the answers to which we will discuss in order to understand what circumstances up to date and in the future. We discuss several issues related to the state budget for 2017, we also need to develop a clear plan for changes in the pension system to which we return once again “- he said.
Vashe also said that the IMF wants to discuss reforms in the banking and financial sectors; also need to update the strategy to reform the energy sector. As noted earlier, the International Monetary Fund said that Ukraine gave the guarantor that it will conduct the necessary reforms for a specified period. Also before this in the media reported that the IMF demands that the Ukrainian side qualitative changes in the pension system for the next tranche of him. The new system has to change the retirement age (which direction is indicated), a unified system of accrual and payment.
