In the first six months of 2016 the index of investment attractiveness of Ukraine has increased to a maximum of the last four years and reached 2.88 Balls out of 5 (0.31 ball growth).
In general, investors have reported optimistic expectations for the first time in two years.
Approximately 22% of the European Business Association considered a major factor in improving the performance stability of the national currency, since April 2016 large hryvnia rate fluctuations did not really have. The number of respondents who believe that there is no positive changes in Ukraine decreased from 60% to 50%.
Investors also say they do not expect significant shocks to the economy of Ukraine before the end of 2016. Moreover, about 42% of respondents expect improvement of the investment climate in the next six months, while 28% consider Ukrainian market is favorable for new investments.
