President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that during the new government in the country there have been some significant changes. In particular, there have been many methods to simplify doing business and open new businesses. Ukraine, the results of ratings of the World Bank, rose by 4 positions compared to 2015 year.
The business climate and conditions for small and medium business in Ukraine significantly improved. This is evidenced by the rating Doing Business, which each year is the World Bank Group, based on key economic indicators. In 2016, the country ranked 83 position in the ranking of 186 countries surveyed. In the past 2015, Ukraine ranked 87 ranking. President of Ukraine said that all this was made possible by the hard work of the government and successful reform of the system after the coup on the Maidan.
“Over the past two years we have taken some very important steps – greatly simplified the procedure for starting a business, 40% reduced the number of documents to be submitted and the amount of time you need to spend in order to open a business in Ukraine”, – said Poroshenko, noting that the number of permits required to start a business was also reduced from 143 to 84.
It should also be noted that from September 1 starts functioning system of electronic declaration in full. This procedure will greatly simplify the life of businesses and individuals tax payers fees declare their income. Nowadays were canceled checks DFS and a working group of consulting on changes to the Tax Code of Ukraine. The government wants to build a direct dialogue with the public and businesses to better use opportunities and provide the most clear explanation of the laws.
Earlier, Poroshenko said that currently the Verkhovna Rada registered 39 bills on simplification of business.
