Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has worsened estimate of decline in GDP in Ukraine in 2015 to 10%.
Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, reported in early February on the assessment of decline in GDP in Ukraine in 2015 at 10.4%, has improved this estimate to 10%.
Due to the relative macroeconomic stability in the country, reached jointly by the government and the NBU, GDP (fourth quarter 2015) increased by 1.5% compared to the third quarter and in the third quarter growth was 0.5% (compared to the second quarter 2015). In the third quarter of 2015 decline in GDP was 7.2% compared to the same period of 2014, during the second quarter of 2015 – 14.6% and in the first – 17.2%.
