Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on January, 20 auction to sell the bonds of domestic government loan of UAH 100. 414.
During the auction on placement of bonds domestic treasury bonds, 20 January, the Finance Ministry sold two-year government bonds at UAH 100.414 million to UAH.
This was the ministry said.
These securities with a maturity of January 10, 2018 and the nominal yield of 19.7% per annum are rated for 1 thousand UAH.
In total, the auction were received 5 bids for the purchase of government bonds worth a total of 235.0 million USD, but the Ministry of Finance has granted only one of them at 100 414 000 UAH.
It was reported that during the auction on January 19 the Ministry of Finance sold dollar-denominated government bonds in the amount of $ 486.045 million, so the amount of borrowed funds in the budget (at the official exchange rate of NBU) amounted to 11.975 billion USD.
Placed January 19 papers have a maturity of 1.5 years (prior to 5 July 2017) and the nominal yield of 7.67% per annum.
At the auction on January 19 have also been proposed hryvnia government bonds with a maturity of 6 months, 9 months, 1 year and 1.5 years, but they have not been posted.
Auctions of government bonds The Ministry of Finance has resumed after a six-month hiatus from January 12. On this day it was sold hryvnia securities with a maturity of 1 year to 84.46 million USD by 18.5% per annum.
Until January 2016 the Ministry of Finance last held an auction on placement of government bonds July 21, 2015.
