As a result of research EBA Business Forecast 2017, which was conducted among 117 business leaders, members of the European Business Association (EBA), have been named the most attractive sectors of Ukrainian economy.
“The survey results show that business feels more confident than in the same period last year”, – said the executive director of EBA Anna Derevyanko.

“But we are important, not the numbers, but the fact that the economy is slowly recovering after falling 17% in 2013”, – explained the president of the EBA.
According to the president of the region EEMEA Jacobs Douwe Egberts Taras Likarchuk, market consumer goods (FMCG) fell in the three years to 50% in foreign currency.
“Unlike previous crises in 1998 and 2008, the economic recovery now goes slower. We can say that the industry in the first half of 2016 has passed the bottom, but the growth in domestic consumption is still there, “- says Likarchuk.
Nevertheless, the expert expects next year’s sales growth of consumer goods by 7-15% in value terms and 3.2% in volume.
A more optimistic in their forecasts of the representatives of the IT-sphere. In particular, according to CEO Dmitry Sholomko Google Ukraine, Ukraine has seen a rapid growth of the market of Internet advertising.
“This year, its volume has doubled compared to the previous. In dollar terms, we are growing by 50% yoy. In the next year we expect at least the same size “, – said Dmitry Sholomko.
The expert noted that the growth of the market to ensure the development of small and medium-sized businesses, which make money in Ukraine.
IT-companies producing their intellectual products for export, and are hoping for a good performance.
“The last two years we have grown by only 5% in foreign currency against 20-30% in previous years. We see orders growth and recruitment of new staff. Therefore, there is reason to talk about the growth of 20% over the next year “, – says CEO of SimCorp in Ukraine Alexander Hraban.
Not bad feels and the agricultural sector, which is growing rapidly, including through investment.
“We are growing. This year, sales almost doubled. And we will grow in the next year, because our products are not only in the field of agriculture”, – assured the CEO of BASF in Ukraine Andreas Lier.
According to him, there is a revival in the field of light industry, furniture manufacturing market, automotive components and refrigerators. These segments are the import substitution process.
