National Bank forecasts inflation in 2019 at 5%.
The Head of the National Bank reminded the bankers of the liquidity of the system and control inflation forecasts.
National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) predicts inflation in 2016 at 12%, in 2017 – 8%, in 2019 – 5%, reminded the Head of the regulator Valeria Gontareva.
“The situation is completely controlled inflation, the last two months we have deflation. The following year, forecast inflation at 12%, in 2017 – 8%, in 2019 – 5%”, – the press service quoted the words of his Head of the central bank.
It also again said that the banking system is currently liquidity.
“The liquidity of the banking sector is hitting record lows. On certificates of deposit is currently about 48 billion UAH, focused on correspondent accounts 23-25 billion UAH. Gontareva also informed bankers, the regulator will gradually remove all exchange restrictions, and in the middle of next year plans to move to a new market-oriented system of currency regulation.
