The official unemployment rate in April fell from 1.7% to 1.6%.

The official unemployment rate, according to the State Statistics Service, dropped from 1.7% to 1.6% in April 2016.
As of the end of April the number of unemployed amounted to 434.7 thousand people (a month earlier – 467.5 thousand people.)
Help unemployment people received 339.0 thousand in April, and its average size was 1472 UAH. A month earlier, the figures were 376.8 thousand people and 1566 UAH respectively.
As reported, down from 1.9% to 1.7% in March, the official unemployment rate. The number of unemployed in March, down from 508.2 thousand to 467.5 thousand persons and recipients of unemployment with 416.7 thousand to 376.8 thousand people. The average size of unemployment benefit in March increased from 1509 UAH to 1566 UAH.
