One-third of Ukrainian exports of agricultural products over the past year has been directed to the EU.
Ukrainian farmers in 2014 significantly increased the supply of its products to the market of the European Union, said on the conference Agri & Food Export Forum Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on European Integration Vladislav Rutitskii.
«If we talk about trade in agricultural products, the trade turnover with the EU amounted to about 7 billion 690 million dollars. Export – about $ 5 billion,» – said V.Rutitskii. The main importers of Ukrainian agricultural products to the EU last year were Spain, the Netherlands and Poland.
According to Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Alexei Pavlenko, Ukraine continues to work towards increasing the duty-free quotas on exports of agricultural products in the EU. Now created separate working group with the Ministry of Economy.
