The government predicts growth of the Ukrainian economy in 2017 at 3%, in 2018 and 2019 – 4%.
These figures are listed in the draft budget resolution, which is prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers for submission to the Verkhovna Rada.
According to the document, inflation in 2017 will amount to 8.1%, it has to slow down to 5.5% in 2018, in 2019 – to 5.2%.
According to the draft budget resolution, the budget deficit in 2017 will amount to 3%, in 2018 – 2.5%, in 2019 – 2.3% of GDP.
It is also expected gradual reduction of the national debt. If it is planned at the level of not more than 66% of GDP, in 2018. In 2017 – 63.9%, in 2019 – 61.8%.
In the state budget for 2016 laid down GDP growth of 2% with inflation at 12%. June 21 Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that GDP growth in the current year could reach 1.5%.
