The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will initiate commercialization of Ukrainian state-owned banks.

The Bank is developing concept for the modernization of state banks by their partial commercialization conditions to more than 50% of the capital owned by the state. The EBRD is also working on a number of projects for financing the capital of some banks.
In addition, the EBRD representative noted the efforts of the National Bank to stabilize the financial situation in the country.
