The European Commission will give Ukraine 110 million euro for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
“The European Commission has approved a special event for the development and convergence of the private sector with a budget of 70 million euros. It is part of a package of support for Ukraine with a budget of 11 billion euros. This event is a response to the urgent need to support the reconstruction and economic development of Ukraine. It is particularly help small and medium enterprises throughout Ukraine, increasing employment and activating economic growth. It will be supplemented by credit and guarantee facility with a budget of 40 million euros, it is intended to facilitate access to financing of Ukrainian business “, – stated in the message of the EU Delegation in Ukraine.
EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and the negotiations on the expansion of Johannes Hahn in this context stressed that creating favorable conditions for investment, providing services for business development at the regional level, the EU contributes to the recovery of the Ukrainian economy.
