The IMF has predicted a record growth of the Ukrainian economy.

IMF staff calculations suggest that real GDP growth in Ukraine will reach 1.5% in 2016. This is evidenced by the data published on Friday, the IMF report “Regional Economic Aspects” for the countries of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.
“It is expected that Ukraine will enter the period of record economic growth, which will be supported by reduction of economic imbalances and the improvement of the geopolitical situation”, – experts say the fund.
According to IMF estimates, real GDP growth in Ukraine will amount to 2.5% in 2017.
However, the IMF believed that the real export of goods and services by the end of 2016 reduced by 4.1% in Ukraine, and the growth of this index in 2017 is expected to reach 3.6%.
