The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine expects to receive $ 800 million from the World Bank and Japan in April.
The Minister of Economy of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius hopes the Verkhovna Rada until March 30 ten laws that allow early as April of this year to get from the World Bank loan for the second software development policies (DPL-2) in the amount of $ 800 million.
The Minister said that we are talking about have already adopted this week by the Parliament Act, to reduce the number of licensed activities from 56 to 30. Also, it is a bill to protect the rights of investors which may be submitted this week to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration in second reading.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Dmytro Shimkiv added that for the second program loan is also necessary to adopt the Law «On the Accounting Chamber».
Shimkiv said that $ 500 million for the program loan will provide the World Bank and $ 300 million – the Government of Japan under bilateral intergovernmental agreement with Ukraine on the promotion and protection of investments (investment agreement between Japan and Ukraine).
