Ukraine in 2015 increased the positive balance of trade in goods by 8.4% or $ 127 million – to $ 1.638 billion, the State Fiscal Service.

According to the service, the export of goods from Ukraine in the past year fell by 29.4% – to $ 38.178 billion, imports – by 30.4% to $ 36.541 billion.

In December of 2015 a positive balance of trade in goods totaled $ 240 million, while in December 2014 the balance was negative – $ 477 million, due to a sharp drop in purchases of natural gas this year.

Total in December 2015, imports into Ukraine has decreased compared to December 2014 by 29.8% – to $ 3.119 billion, while exports – only by 15.3% to $ 3.359 billion.

In general, over the past year, the largest share of imports held mineral fuels and oil – 27.5%, higher than the 25.5% in 2014, even though their exports in terms of money fell by 25%, or $ 3.361 billion.

Following the structure of imports are reactors, boilers, machinery and equipment – 9.8% (9.4%), electrical machinery and equipment, video and audio equipment – 7.4% (7.3%), plastics, polymeric materials, products – 5.7% (5.6%), ground transportation vehicles – 4.5% (4.7%), pharmaceutical products – 3.8% (4.7%).

The export structure is still the leaders are ferrous metals – by 21.2%, although their share has fallen from 23.9% a year earlier, and in terms of money supply decreased by $ 4.847 billion or 37.5%.

At the same time reduced the gap, and strengthened his second position crops – 15.9% last year, against 12.1% a year earlier.
