President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met today with the Chairman of the IMF Christine Lagarde, to discuss the terms of the next tranche to Ukraine. As it became known, among other things, the officials discussed the implementation of Ukraine’s reforms and adopted a budget for 2016.
Christine Lagarde, was pleased with the outcome of negotiations, and noted that it was a very productive and dynamic discussion. In the words of Director of the IMF has learned that an international financial institution intends to provide substantial assistance to Ukraine.
Recall, that for the provision of the IMF next credit tranche Ukraine will fulfill its tasks and requirements. The third tranche may be granted to Ukraine in late January – early February.
