In Toronto on June 20 will be the first Canadian-Ukrainian business forum on the eve of the signing of the FTA between the countries. The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development.
The event will be attended by Ukrainian delegation of ministers. In particular, First Vice Prime Minister Stephen Kubiv, Finance Minister Alexander Danyluk, Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelian, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Ostap Semerak, Minister of Agriculture and Food Taras Kytoviy, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Yulia Kuznetsova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade – trade representative of Ukraine Natalia Nikolskaya, Head of the state property Fund Igor Bilous, Deputy Head of presidential Administration Dmitry Shymkiv.
From Canada will be presented to the Minister of International Trade Canada Christine Freeland.
The parties will meet with Canadian and Ukrainian business Ukrainian business officials will present the latest achievements in reform areas, there will be panel discussions devoted to reforms in agriculture, energy, infrastructure and IT.
The forum will also host a number of bilateral meetings: Ministerial cubes and Stephen Freeland Christ; Ukrainian government representatives and potential investors.
Ukrainian businessmen will have an opportunity to discuss ways of bilateral cooperation with its Canadian counterparts.
There will be an exhibition of Ukrainian designers Made in Ukraine.
Before the first amerykansko-Ukrainian business forum in Washington (July 2015), the German-Ukrainian business forum in Berlin (October 2015) and business forum Netherlands-Ukraine in Nutdorp (Netherlands) (March 2016).
Earlier, Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Roman Vashchuk said that the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada can enter into force this summer.
Recall, Canada and Ukraine agreed on signing a free trade area in July 2015.
