Ukraine and Canada are negotiating about create free trade zone.
Ukraine and Canada are going in the next three months to complete the negotiations on the establishment of a Free Trade Zone between the two countries.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk told reporters after a meeting with the Head of the Government of Canada Stephen Harper.
“We have agreed with the Prime Minister of Canada – we are negotiating a free trade zone with Canada. I hope that we will, within three months must complete these negotiations. I do not want to run ahead, but we are now in a good stage of negotiations. It is mutual investments from Canada to Ukraine and access of Ukrainian goods to the Canadian market, “- said Yatsenyuk.
As reported, on January 1, 2016 should make a comprehensive free trade zone between Ukraine and the European Union.
Also, according to the work program of the Ukrainian government approved in December 2014, Ukraine expects to sign an agreement on free trade zones with Turkey, Canada, Israel, Africa and a number of Balkan countries.
