Ukraine and the Netherlands signed a declaration on the development of Danube inland waterways.
Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Viktor Dovgan during a working visit to the Netherlands signed the relevant ministries of the Netherlands Danube Declaration on the development of inland waterways.According to the press service of the Ministry.
He also took part in international transport forum.
Dougan also held bilateral consultations with European Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bults on the signing of the Common Aviation Area with the EU, particularly on the issue of consensus regarding Gibraltar airport.
It was decided to continue bilateral consultations after the parliamentary elections in Spain, to be held 26 June.
During the meeting the ministers of the Danube region Dougan informed about the plans of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine in the development of river transport, and stressed the importance of Ukraine’s integration into the trans-European transport network (TEN-T).
Dougan also held a meeting with the Transport Minister of Bulgaria Ivailo Moskovsky about the prospects for agreement on rail and ferry connections.
