Ukrainian producers of grain and flour sold 3.6 million tons of raw materials total in April.
In April, the export of grain and flour increased by 67.6% compared to March 2016.
In April 2016 Ukraine increased its deliveries to foreign markets of grain, legumes and flour in comparison with the previous month by 67.6%, or more than 1,4mln tonnes-3.6 million tonnes. The increase in exports was mainly due to wheat and corn also rose nearly doubled shipments of barley. The export of oats and sorghum dropped and rye on foreign markets do not deliver at all.
April exports compared to March wheat has doubled, and maize – by 51.8%.
However, part of the wheat in grain exports from Ukraine in March increased from 32.7% to 36.7%, while the share of foreign trade in maize deliveries, on the contrary, decreased from 62.9% to 57%.
The largest buyer of Ukrainian grain, mainly maize, from the beginning of the current season is the EU. The top three procurement of wheat entered Thailand, Egypt and Indonesia. The largest volume of domestic barley bought Saudi Arabia.
Recall all 2015/16 MG ten months Ukraine has supplied to foreign markets 33.1 million tons of grain.
