Ukraine has increased to 5 times exports pork .
Ukraine in January-August 2015 exported 19.54 thousand tons of pork, that in 5,2 times more than the same period in 2014.
According to customs statistics, made public the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, in monetary terms, exports of these products for eight months was $ 41 million ($ 11 million for the first eight months of 2014).
Pork imports for the period amounted to 2,867 thousand tons from 21.3 thousand tons a year earlier. In monetary terms, it amounted to $ 6.54 million.
Shipments abroad of poultry meat and offal rose by 1% – up to 105.365 thousand tons. This kind of meat were exported in the amount of almost $ 147.073 million. The import amounted to 32.79 thousand tons ($ 21.617) which is 2% more than in January-August 2014, which amounted to 32.16 thousand tons ( $ 33 million).
As reported, citing data from GFS, in 2014, Ukraine has increased pork exports doubled – to 9.4 thousand tons of poultry meat and by-products – by 20% to 174.7 thousand tons. At the same time imports of pork fell five times – up to 30.8 thousand tons and poultry – by 14.2%, to 61 thousand tons.
