Ukraine has risen in the ranking of ease of doing business.
Ukraine has risen to four positions in the ranking of the World Bank ease of doing business (Doing Business) and took 83 rd place.
This is evidenced rating, published on the website Doing Business.
The study includes results for the second half of 2014 and first half of 2015.
Note that the authors took the second consecutive year, the methodology of the study. Under the new – like last year Ukraine was not on the 96th, and the 87th place. Thus, the result improved the country into four positions.
In general, Ukraine ranked 83 rd position with 189 countries and is located between Brunei and Saudi Arabia.
Singapore topped the rating. In second place – New Zealand, the third – Denmark. Completing the list Libya and Eritrea.
Ukraine improves the result for the second year in a row. Last year ranked 96th place, improving the position on 16 points.
The study showed that key reforms that helped raise the rating this year was the simplification of business registration.
According to Doing Business, for business registration in Ukraine must pass four procedures. This will take no more than seven days.
However, Ukraine still difficult to get a building permit and connection to the grid. Connect to power estimated at five procedures and 260 days. Obtaining building permits – 10 procedures and 67 days.
Among the countries that have achieved the best results to improve business, includes Costa Rica, Uganda, Kenya, Cyprus, Mauritania, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Jamaica, Senegal and Benin.
Together, these ten countries have 39 regulatory reforms to improve the business environment.
Also add that the higher the country’s position in the ranking of doing business, so it becomes more attractive for investment.
