Ukraine has signed a loan agreement with Canada for 200 million Canadian dollars, said Minister of Finance Natalia Yaresko.
According to her, the loan at low interest rates from the Canadian export agency will help stabilize the Ukrainian economy and to resume its growth.
«This is the second loan for 200 million Canadian dollars in September 2014. This is a strong signal of support of our reforms from the G7», – noted Yaresko.
Earlier it was reported that Canada will contribute 7.1 million Canadian dollars to support the reform of the electoral process in Ukraine. Noted that 1.2 million Canadian dollars will be allocated to the OSCE to support the organization and coordination of the electoral process in Ukraine.
