Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of cooperation with the IMF.
The President of Ukraine Petr Poroshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Head of the NBU Valeriya Gontareva signed on February 27 Memorandum of Cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.
IMF officially unveils this Memorandum.
«This plan changes which is monitored by our Western partners. We performed during 2014 two such Memorandum. The points every reform that required the country was carried out. That is why the IMF extended the program to Ukraine for 4 years. That is why we are now able to negotiate with our Western partners about the unprecedented amount of financial support for a country,»- said Prime Minister of Ukraine.
The Prime Minister also noted that the final negotiations will be held with the relevant committees of Parliament and MPs, will be agreed a package of bills needed to stabilize the hryvnia exchange rate and get tranche of the International Monetary Fund.
