Head of Ministry of Agrarian Policy expects the gross grain harvest of 58.5 to 60 million tons.
Forecast gross harvest of grain this year ranges from 58.5 million tons to 60 million tons, more accurate estimates can be given with the beginning of the harvesting campaign of maize.
So far, the predictions are at the level of 58.5-60 million tons.
According to the State Statistics Service, Ukraine in 2014 it collected 63.8 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 2.4% more than in 2013 and a record for the country’s independence.
By September 1, the rate of yield of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine exceeded last year’s by 3.6%, by that date, the country harvested 37.6 million tons of grain.
