Ukraine in the first half of 2015 has become the largest exporter of corn in China.

Both countries have benefited from closer trade relations, and China has shown it wants to diversify its procurement of grains and oilseeds.
Recent customs data indicate that 95% of more than 400 thous.tons of corn were imported from Ukraine in May. The total imports (more than half a million tons for 5 months) – it’s almost 90% of all Chinese imports of corn.
The main supplier in China Ukraine has become in less than 3 years. Three billionth loan supply of maize was signed between the two countries in 2012.
Strengthening relations between the two countries not only support the agrarian sector of Ukraine, but also help meet the growing demand for grain and meat in China.
