Ukraine increased production of ferroalloys by 3.2%.
In January-May 2016 ferroalloy plants have increased production to 411.3 thousand tons.
Ukrainian ferroalloy plants in January-May 2016 increased their production by 3.2% compared to the same period last year-To 411.3 thousand tons.Ob This was reported in the Ukrainian Association producers of ferroalloys.
According to the report, silicomanganese output increased by 2.4% over the period – up to 331.5 thousand tons,ferromanganese-6.4% to 36 thousand tons of ferrosilicon -11.7% to 41 thousand tons. At the same time decreased the release of manganese metal-by 36.7%, to 2.8 thousand tons.
Production of ferroalloys in Ukraine are engaged in Nikopol, Zaporozhye and Stakhanov ferroalloy plants and Pobuzhsky Ferronickel Plant. These products are exported to the CIS countries, EU, Asia, and Africa.
