Ukraine increases export of honey.
From January to August of this year, Ukrainian producers exported 23 thousand 397 tonnes of honey totaling $ 43 million. This was reported in the State Fiscal Service. As it became known, the main importer of Ukrainian honey this year was Germany.
Manufacturers of Ukraine sent to German customers, products worth 17.6 million dollars, which reaches forty percent of the total. Also, a large amount of honey is exported by Ukraine to the United States – from January to August, the buyers from the United States received from the Ukrainian manufacturers of the products in the amount of eight million dollars, and it is almost 19 per cent of total exports.
On the third place in terms of sales of honey from the Ukraine left Poland – about 16 percent of the total in the amount of 7.2 million dollars. honey imports to Ukraine minimum – for eight months in 2016, he approached the 300 thousand dollars. Now Ukraine is importing honey from Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic, which is a leader in the import of these products.
