Ukraine invests 800 million UAH in the construction of sea grain terminal in Mariupol.
Mariupol sea trading port plans to invest 800 million USD in the construction of grain transfer complex design capacity of 2.5 million tons per year, the work is scheduled to begin by the end of summer.
“Now the project will be submitted for examination, and immediately after its passage will begin to begin work We hope that by the end of summer we will begin to work already.”, – reported the press service of Mariupol sea trading port.
Grain transfer complex will be built in two stages: the first will include 10 Silo by 5.7 tonnes each, a total storage capacity of 57 thousand tons of grain dryer and a capacity of 3 tons/day.
The second phase will consist of 13 silos by 5.7 thousand. Tons of the total volume of each storage 74 th. Tons. The terminal also accommodate eight operational silos.
Mariupol sea trading port is a state enterprise. Operates in accordance with the applicable legislation. Its financial and economic activity is constantly monitored by the relevant public authorities and the relevant ministry. Mariupol sea trading port is located in the northwestern part of Taganrog Bay of the Azov Sea, 23 km from the entrance to the bay. Port area of 77.7 hectares, the length of mooring lines – 4.2 km, the number of berths – 18.
The port can accommodate vessels up to 250 meters with a draft of up to 8 m. The average depth of the approaches to the port is 8.6 m.
