Export of grain could be a record this year.
Ukraine has a significant impact on the situation on the world grain market. This was stated by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko.
According to the Minister, Ukraine is among the top three world exporters of grain.
“Given the domestic consumption of 24 million tonnes in the current marketing period will generate export potential of 36 million tonnes. This may be another export record. We expect that in the period July-December 2015, the country will receive foreign currency earnings from the export of grain to the level prior to the US $ 4 billion”, reported to the Minister.
